Oil Discovered
Last century oil was discovered in West Texas, and again in the late 1970s, Fort Worth become a rich center for dealing in oil. The more recent discovery built the wealth of the city and attracted more residents to come and settle there. Nothing attracts people to a place like gold and oil.
The area is surrounded by excellent infrastructure roads and freeways, making it very easy to drive around and go places. If you don’t drive there is a rail network and the airport is nearby linked by bus and shuttle transport.
