Uptown Dallas has a great mix of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. You’ll find something for everyone here! Downtown Dallas is connected to Uptown by Klyde Warren Park- a beautiful green space that’s perfect for a walk or jog. And if you’re looking for some retail therapy or a great meal, Uptown is the place to be. It’s the city’s most walkable neighborhood with a Walk Score of 94.

Victory Park

Victory Park is located in Deep Ellum, and it’s the perfect spot to catch a game, dinner, and drinks all in one place! The district was originally established as a 5-mile railroad line. However, it has since become a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike. In addition to sports games, Victory Park also offers a variety of restaurants and nightlife options. 

Knox/Henderson

Knox/Henderson is a business and entertainment district located in Dallas, Texas. The two streets intersect at the north-central expressway, Interstate 75. There are many sights to see in Knox/Henderson, including food and shopping opportunities.

West Village

The West Village is a neighborhood in New York City known for its charming streets, brick townhouses, and trendy restaurants. It’s also home to the famous Washington Square Park.

In addition to its many restaurants and bars, the West Village is also filled with unique boutiques. You’ll find everything from designer clothes to handmade jewelry in this shopping destination.

Places To Eat In Uptown

Celebrity Chefs

There are three restaurants in Uptown with celebrity chefs: Dean Fearling’s namesake restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton, Kent Rathbun’s Imoto, and Paul Qui’s Lusitano. All three offer unique menus and dining experiences.

Of course, there are multiple other excellent restaurants in the area that both residents and visitors enjoy.

Notable Structures & Parks

There are many notable structures and parks in the Downtown & Uptown Dallas: City Center District. Some of the most popular ones include the following:

The Bank of America Plaza is a 72-story, Class A office tower in downtown Dallas. It is the tallest building in Texas and the 15th-tallest building in the United States.

The Joule hotel has become one of downtown Dallas’ most popular destinations. The Reunion Tower is a 561-foot (171 m) observation tower located at 300 Reunion Boulevard East in Reunion district of Dallas. It’s also home to five revolving restaurants: Cloud Nine Café, Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, Highball Lounge, Icon Grill, and Spire Bar.

The American Airlines Center is a multi-purpose arena that opened on July 17th 2001 as part of the $2 billion Pennsylvania Station development project undertaken by Ross Perot Jr.’s Hillwood Development Corporation. The center is home to both the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.

There are also many other notable structures and parks in Downtown & Uptown Dallas: City Center District, including but not limited to Thanks-giving Square, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, Heritage Village Park, and more!

From City Center District, Dallas, TX, USA  to Truett Memorial Library 1707 San Jacinto St, Dallas, TX 75201, United States

Head northeast on Federal St and turn left on Olive St just after the Federal At Olive -E- NS bus stop, after 0.2 miles and passing the ChargePoint Charging Station, turn left on Ross Ave, after 0.2 miles and the Ross at Akard -S- NS bus stop, turn left onto N Akard St, and turn left again just after the Dakota’s Steakhouse on San Jacinto St to reach your destination at 1707 San Jacinto St.

From Truett Memorial Library 1707 San Jacinto St, Dallas, TX 75201, United States to Renaissance Tower 1201 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75270, United States

Head northeast on San Jacinto St toward North St. Paul Street and turn right onto North St. Paul Street just after passing the San Jacinto at St Paul -E- NS bus stop and after 0.1 miles turn right onto Federal St when your reach Federal Plaza, then, turn right at the 1st cross street onto N Ervay St in the ChargePoint Charging Station, then turn left onto Patterson St after reaching the Field at Patterson -N- NS bus stop 0.2 miles turn left onto N Field St and keep straight to Elm St and the tower is on the right.

From Renaissance Tower to Tower Club

Head south on N Field St toward Main St and turn left onto Main St after passing the Commissary Cafe then turn left at Porta Di Roma Italian Restaurant onto N Ervay St, turn left onto Elm St when you reach Ervay at Elm -N- MB bus stop, and your destination it’s going to be on the right. 

From Tower Club to One Dallas Center

Head west on Elm St and turn right on N Field St passing the First National Bank Tower Dallas , turn right onto San Jacinto St passing the Field at San Jacinto -N- NS bus stop and turn on North St. Paul Street when you reach St. Paul cafe, your destination will be at left 0.2 miles ahead crossing the street at National Lloyds Insurance.

From One Dallas Center to Majestic Theater

Head southeast on N Harwood St toward James W.Aston Park and turn right onto Elm St when you see Kitchen+Kocktails By: Kevin Kelley your Destination will be on the right

From Majestic Theater to Univision

Head west on Elm St and turn right onto N Ervay St after the Elm at Ervay -W- NS bus stop, turn right passing the First Baptist Dallas Historic Sanctuary onto San Jacinto St and turn right before passing the Texaco Gas Station onto N Good Latimer Expy, your destination will be on the right

From Univision to Carpenter Park

Head southeast on N Good Latimer Expy and turn right onto N Central Expy, continue on N Cesar Chavez Blvd to Pacific Ave. Your destination will be on the right passing the Carpenter Park Dog Park.

From Carpenter Park to The Medlin Law Firm

Head east on Pacific Ave, your destination will be on the right just before the Gaston at Good Latimer -N- NS bus stop
