If you’re pulled over by the police and a police officer asks you to take a breathalyzer test, I would suggest that you refuse that test. If you haven’t become intoxicated, if you haven’t had more than one drink an hour and you’ve only had a few drinks total over several hours. You feel like you’re not intoxicated you might say, well, I refuse that breath test but I’d like to take a blood test.
They probably won’t take you for a blood test but it’s important that you do that because then they can’t argue that you refused the breath test because you knew you were guilty.
