Frisco Heights All You Need To Know

Frisco Heights is a neighborhood in Fort Worth near Texas Christian University. It stretches from Park Hill Drive to Berry Street. Forest Park Boulevard and McCart Avenue run along the neighborhood’s eastern border.

Leibrock Village is located in Frisco Heights. It is specifically for Brite Divinity College and other TCU graduate students. The neighborhood features a number of large older homes converted into studio apartments and multifamily units catering to students. Nearly half of the buildings here were built in the 1960s or are even older than that. Redevelopment since 2000 has replaced many older buildings with apartments, condos, and dorms.

L. Paschal High School is within walking distance of most residents. It is on the eastern side of Forest Park Boulevard. Most residents are assigned to Lily B Clayton Elementary School. Daggett Middle School is a popular choice for residents. It is located off Hemphill Street. Daggett Elementary School is located on Alston Avenue and Elizabeth Elementary.

This neighborhood gets points for being within walking distance of both the Neely School of Business and TCU Harris College of Nursing and Medicine. The neighborhood gets a walk score of 66. It has weaker public transit, receiving a rating of 29 out of 100. The main bus routes run along University Drive. The community is much more bike-friendly. It has a bike score of 55. Most of the restaurants, shops, and retail are located along Berry Street.

The neighborhood is as popular with medical professionals as students since you can take Forest Park Boulevard North and then take any cross street to Baylor Scott and White All Saints Medical Center. Or Take Eighth Avenue north to Baylor, Medical City Fort Worth, or Cook Children’s Medical Center. These are located on Rosedale and Eighth Avenue. Or you could take Allen Avenue east to John Peter Smith hospital. That is also the home of several Tarrant County public health facilities.
