If you’re convicted of a first time DWI and you do probation, and as a condition of that probation within six months of getting the DWI, you complete a 12-hour DWI education program, you won?t get any suspension of your license.
However, you?ll be required by law in Texas to have an SR22 for two years from the date of that conviction. Now, you could have had a suspension of your license from the administrative hearing. We talk about that in another video.
