Overview Of Martin House Brewery
Martin House Brewery is a laid back craft brewery founded in 2012. For example, you can bring your dog, your lawn chair and sit back and relax with their craft beers. The brewery focuses on sours, gose and other non-IPA beers. It is more of a pub than a brewery. (They brew 10,000 to 20,000 barrels a year.) Yet they sell beer to go, and Martin House brews are sold at restaurants across the state. They also make unusual beverages like a liquid version of blackberry cobbler and lemon pie. They’re famous for their spicy pickle beer. They also create novel flavors like a pretzel stout. These novel flavors of beer are always changing, though they have eight classic beers like the Salty Lady and Friday IPA beer. They may have up to forty beers on tap including their classic eight brews.
One downside of this location is the relative lack of parking. That’s because they’re always busy. They regularly host unique events like “beer and yoga”. They also sponsor marathons and charitable activities. The tap room itself is open seven days a week, while the brewery is open for tours Thursday through Sunday. The venue can be booked for events. People have even gotten married here. Others just meet for the beer tastings and live music.
The Martin House Brewery sits 220 S Sylvania Avenue. That is just south of Airport Freeway. More importantly, the brewer is just east of I-35 and the West Fork of the Trinity River with nothing between it and these landmarks. This gives you great views of downtown Fort Worth from the rear windows. And you can sit in the greenbelt along the Trinity River, too.
