Westcliff Neighborhood All You Need To Know

The northern boundary of Westcliff is Bellaire Drive and Berry Street. Granbury Road is its southern boundary marker. Westcliff is close to Texas Christian University. That’s why University Drive and Stadium Road form the eastern boundary of the neighborhood. However, Bluebonnet Hills is closer to the university, if you’re traveling along University Drive. Trail Lake and Alton are the western boundary for this neighborhood. Seminary Drive cuts through the southern edge of the neighborhood. You can take that less than a mile east to reach the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The area used to be full of TCU students. However, the area is attracting more retirees and young families. Many homes in Westcliff are assigned to Tanglewood Elementary School. That is next to the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, and it explains why the school is considered one of the best elementary schools in Fort Worth. Students generally attend WP McLean Middle School, though your child could go to the Rosemont Sixth Grade building. Saint Andrew Catholic School sits on the northeastern corner of the neighborhood. The Alice Contreras Elementary School is a short distance east of the neighborhood. Many students are assigned to R L Paschal High School.

The Hartwood linear park is directly west of the neighborhood. If you cross West Berry Street, you reach the Lupton Baseball Stadium and Williams Reilly Field. Amon Carter Stadium is a short distance north of that. Foster Park is next to Tanglewood Elementary. Foster Park is connected to Overton Park by a trail. Go two blocks south, and you hit the massive Kellis Park.

Most homes here were built in the 1950s or 1960s. They’re generally single story homes with large yards. Many homes have been updated, while some have been torn down and replaced by luxury homes. That’s why homes in the area range from 150,000 dollars to more than two million dollars.
